When you purchase something from our store we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
We'll store this information on a PC for up to 48 hours after your order is processed, then it will be deleted from the PC. The information will also be retained by Create who provide our shop software. We'll retain this information in case of queries and to comply with regulations for maintaining accounting records.
If you buy a club memeber ship we will hold your name, address, email address and ravelry ID (if supplied) on an excel spreadsheet. Both the spreadsheet and computer it is stored on are password protected. If your club membership inludes a pattern your email address or ravelry ID will be supplied to the patren designer so they can send the pattern to you. This information will then be destroyed and will not be used for any other purpose.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
If you contact us with a query your email address may be added to our contacts list. We will only use this email address to repond to your query.
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will ask you directly for your expressed consent - so you'll choose to sign up to receive the newsletter rather than being added to a mailing list because you forgot to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?

Access to our mailing list is password protected.
Making a Purchase
When you make a purchase from us we'll receive your name, address and email address. Payments are handled via Paypal so we don't have access to any card details. Once your order has been processed we'll retain the details of your order. This information is held online by Create (the company which run the website). We won't keep details on computers, phones or tablets for more than 48 hours after your order is processed. Access to all of our computing devices is password protected. There is the option of providing your phone number when you place an order. We will only use this if there's a query about your order. You do not need to give a phone number to place an order.

Some of the information gathered about you on this site is gained in a statistical manner for our use only and is collected by Google Analytics. This helps us see how customers use the site and improve the shopping experience we offer.
Data will not identify you personally. It is strictly aggregate statistical data about our visitors and how they used our resources on the site. No identifying personal information will be shared at any time via cookies.
Close to the above, data gathering can be about general online use through a cookie file. When used, cookies are automatically placed in your hard drive where information transferred to your computer can be found.
