I KNIT SO I DON'T KILL PEOPLE embroidered in orange and turquoise onto a gray bag.

Our tote bags are made from 100% heavy weight cotton canvas, so they'll stand up to years of use. The cotton used in these bags is cerified Fairtrade and GOTS organic. We use a supplier from Sheffield and the bags are embroidered in our Yorkshire studio.

Bags measure 42cm /16.5" tall and 37cm / 14.5" wide. The handles are 50cm / 20" long - perfect for putting over a shoulder but not so long that the bag can't easily be carried by hand. 

We've used this weight of cotton bag for years and they've coped with everything we take back and forward to the workshop. We wanted to be sure that we didn't create a bag that wouldn't last, so heavy cotton canvas (it's 283g / 10oz per square meter) was the way to go. Using viscose thread means we can avoid plastic and use something biodegradable.

The back of the embroidered panel has been protected by covering it with a soft backing. This ensures that nothing you put in your bag can catch on any of the threads. It's another way of helping your bag look good for longer. 

Care for your bag by  spot cleaning or hand washing in warm water with mild detergent.
