  1. Shop Update 06.02.20

    Linen Zip Pouches

We love zip pouches. We love a cheeky print. We love linen. So our new zip pouches tick a lot of boxes for us.

The first batch of these is ready for the shop update at 1900 this evening.

We made these bags so we were able have exactly what we wanted. The bags are made from European linen. We’ve interfaced this to give the bags more structure and strength.

The bags have our original screen print on the front and are blank on the back.

We’ve used chunky metal zips and finished the bags with a solid wood tag.

In the photo above there’s nothing in the bags – they’ll stand up happily on their own. The bags come in large and medium. The large bag will hold six 100 gram skeins of yarn and the medium bag has space for three.

The eagle eyed amongst you might have spotted these skeins are the colours we dyed to raise money for Foodbank Australia. The skeins are close to selling out and once they’ve gone there won’t be more.

Now that we’re in February we can add the club yarns from January to the shop.

The yarns and bags above will be in the shop at 1900 this evening. Make sure you never miss out by signing up for our newsletter.

  2. Charity Yarns and Bags

    Posted on

When we revamped the website one thing we wanted was to make it easier to see which products led to a donation to charity.

So now you’ll see this in the shop.

You’ll find all of the information about how much is being donated on the listing for each item. We think it’s clearer – and we hope you do to.

    Shoots of Hope

There are yarns which are raising money for Foodbank Australia.

    Cassowary

The first batch of Cassowary sold out fast, so we’re taking preorders for batch 2.

Wool Felt Bag with Crochet Print

There are bags which are raising money for the Trussell Trust.

Have a look, and tell us what you think.
