4 ply sock yarn is a soft feeling, hard wearing yarn. Consisting of 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon, each skein is approximately 100g / 425m.

This yarn can be machine washed on a wool or delicate setting at temperatures up to 40 degrees centigrade. We’ve tested this at home and know that it’s happy in our machine (an Indesit) and with our detergent (Ecover). However machines and detergents vary, and we always recommend that you wash a swatch before committing a garment.

To make it easier to find things I've also included the charity yarns in this section. The cost £1 more than our 'regular' sock yarns, and £2 for each skein sold will be donated to our charities of the year, Macmillan cancer support and the RNLI.

Postage to the UK is £3.25 for first class post.

Postage to Europe is £4.25 per order.

Postage to anywhere else in the world is £6.25 per order.
