Laceweight (or 2 ply) Blue Faced Leicester and silk is a perfect blend of soft bouncy wool with shine and drape too. Consisting of 55% superwash wool and 45% silk, each skein is approximately 100g / 800m.

This yarn can be machine washed on a wool or delicate setting at temperatures up to 40 degrees centigrade. We’ve tested this at home and know that it’s happy in our machine (an Indesit) and with our detergent (Ecover). However machines and detergents vary, and we always recommend that you wash a swatch before committing a garment.

Postage to the UK is £3.25 for first class post.

Postage to Europe is £4.25 per order.

Postage to anywhere else in the world is £6.25 per order.

Postage is included in the prices for clubs and is free for pattern downloads.
